About the event
Starting December 6th, join us for the Novena to Our Lady of Guadalupe at 6pm located in the Blessed Sacrament Church Hall. This 6 day prayer service is a way to show our devotion to Our Lady of Guadalupe. This series of prayers will lead up to the celebration of the Feast of Our Lady Guadalupe on December 12th.
The Marvelous Vision of Our Lady Guadalupe
One cold winter dawn, in 1531, a Lady from Heaven appeared to a small village farmer by the name of Juan Diego Cuauhtlatoatzin outside of Mexico City on Tepeyac Hill. Juan Diego marveled at the sight as a figure shrouded in rays of light and with a crescent moon supported by a seraph under her feet, descended before him. A glimmering emerald hue swept over the foliage around them and brought the farmer to his knees.
